John is an Air Force Vet and proud member of the Jack Kimball Post of the American Legion in Cass Lake. He volunteers as a member of the honor guard for the Legion.	John spends a lot of time in the outdoors. He loves to hunt in the area around his rural Bemidji home.	John takes part in the local Civil Air Patrol fundraiser.
